The Latest DCS World Update Lets F18 Radar Designate Ground Targets. We'll Find Out How Using the RADAR, we can both find and designate both buildings, as well as moving targets in the Hornet. We will not use TGP or predesignated waypoints! The updated F/A-18 Hornet now allows GROUND Targets to be Designated and Tracked using the RADAR, without further intervention! This Tutorial goes over the controls needed, and shows DCS pilots of all skill levels how to find & engage enemy tanks and structures, together with useful tips, recorded in real time. This bugfix adds a whole new possibility, especially useful at night or poor visibility. Of course in most conditions, using RADAR would only be 1 in a series of steps, where ultimately the TGP would be the final designator of choice for most situations. The F/A-18's Air to Ground RADAR was previously able to designate, but it was a broken feature that didn't track targets, and in some instances didn't work correctly, or at all. We fly over Egypt in poor weather hunting targets. How well does DCS 2.9 perform on maxed out graphical settings, with Nvidia RTX4090 with DLSS enabled, flying across 3 maps? We answer this question in today's video, exploring both single & multiplayer in 4K. Does DCS world look any different now, on the highest quality settings, and what about the frequent micro stutters from 2.8? We Compare DLSS "balanced" vs "quality" mode - are there any differences? And what about any obvious new bugs or glitches. If you do not own a 4000 series Graphics card, and are thinking of buying one, or just curious, then this video may help guide your decision. This video is NOT a review of the entire changelog, it is a focus on graphical performances & visuals on the highest quality graphical settings. Important: I don't have a single piece of "dodgy software" because many years ago, when the "hidden crypto miners" issue began to saturate the copied software downloads, it really degraded computer performance. I saw time after time, people who asked me for "tech support" had horrifically slow computers that shouldn't have been. They ALL had copied programs installed, and a quick internet search found this was a well known issue, stubborn as they were, it forced me to format their drives and offer either free, or paid alternatives to the dodgy ones. #dcsworld Load any aircraft EXACTLY how you want in 2 clicks - Multiplayer friendly - no mods, no edits, no update breaks! Quick & Easy for DCS. If you like flying certain loadouts, and are sick of having to manually set each weapon in DCS to each pylon manually, then this is the video you've been waiting for. This will work on any aircraft, including helicopters, online or offline . Update: Appx 24-48 hours after publishing this video, many of the issues and confusions were resolved, including the erroneous notification from ED informing users "You Already Own This Product!" - Feel Free to Jump to 4th Chapter for an Honest, Unbiased Review featuring much of the London Area. Additional Clarification: The Channel Map is a Separate product from Normandy (1 & 2). Areas of the Normandy 2.0 will overlap into areas of the channel map, as shown in this video. I mistakenly said that Normandy 2.0 takes the scenery from Channel Map - and incorporated this into its own. This is NOT the case, Normandy 2.0 actually features its own, unique scenery. Apologies for the confusion. The Channel map does serve to extend customers discount (by $5) - which was also previously contested by ED themselves - they did however decide to honour so that, and other information remains correct. DCS World Mission Editing has always sat behind a curtain of time and effort put into study. Until Now! Has the Latest openAI chat finally broken that rule, to allow simple everyday language to put out easy answers, simple copy n paste scripts, that would allow someone with zero mission editor experience to write themselves a mission, and script all the way? While this video certainly can't answer all of that with certainty, what this points to, is a massive leap, which at least for DCS missions - can only be a good thing. No longer are missions relegated to simple things, or complex missions from the same handful of people. The cat's meow well and truly out the bag !
Ai Chat Bot – Can It Really Make DCS Missions & Script upon Command?
Today we show HOW QUICKLY everything changes once The Engine Quits - The Pilot Has 2 SECONDS to respond, or the Main Rotor SLOWS DOWN - and it's all over. No time for checklists! Pilots Referred to the situation of being "low, slow and without an engine" in a standardised stock phrase with a dark sense of humour: "I'm out of luck, altitude and airspeed, all at the same time!" Having an engine shot out, or quit at the worst possible time, left nothing but quick reactions, skill and some luck to save the crew and any passengers aboard the stricken Helicopter. The Main Rotor MUST keep spinning, so that it has some energy left at the end that can be converted into lift, to cushion the other-wise-to-be-crash. The Bell UH-1 or simply known as "The Huey" was in constant action during Americas campaign in the Vietnam war. New Pilots referred to as "Wobbly Ones" (Warrant Officer - Class 1's) had come fresh from basic training, then flight training school, before being commissioned by the chief of the army. WO2 and officers were commissioned by the president. Perhaps a minor detail, but many claim to this day, it was the Army's way of getting "many new pilots on the cheap". After a couple days in country and familiarisation flights, they were chucked into the deep end, co-pilots for Huey's going into battle - some with troops in back, others with rockets. After some months, they would become the "senior pilots" and switch seats. After 11.5 months were up, they would be known as "short timers" with just 2 weeks left before going home. Often the commanders would show mercy and give these short-timers light duties, such as flying VIP well inside friendly lines etc - They had earned it. Despite whatever reasons and ideas are behind the war, I highly respect the aircrew I have heard from, and re-lived their describing of incidents and details that made me laugh and other times shed a tear. I've gone through 5 books from 5 different pilots on the war, and they're all fascinating.
